At the beginning of the Knowledge Society era the fourth Dubrovnik Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems is aimed to promote a new strategy in the development of life support systems. This Conference is a new venue in the improvement of quality through the dissemination, exchange and promotion of new ideas for the interdisciplinary, multi-cultural and multi-criteria evaluation of complex system. Sustainability science is a new discourse aimed at promoting a new strategy in the development of complex systems. Besides scientific excellence represented by speakers of invited lectures and round tables and by papers included in Special and other conferences sessions, Dubrovnik conference is offering fruitful environment for exchange of ideas and to promote dialog about sustainability aspects.
In order to facilitate the dialog among conference participants we are offering Special Social program. .... and this year on Monday 4th of June we are planning "Welcome surprise evening" and on Wednesday 6th of June we are organizing the boat excursion to the wonderful Elafiti Islands. The excursion will also aim to recreate fillings of the old Republic of Dubrovnik (1272 - 1808) so our boat will be a replica of an historic karaka, a very important kind of trading vessel in famous Dubrovnik's fleet.
	We will sail out from the Old port of Dubrovnik towards the Elafiti Islands (Dubrovnik's pearls) ...
... and we will visit the one of the greenest islands, the Island of Sipan which was inhabited already in time of Roman Empire...
	...from the Island of Sipan, we will sail to the Island of Lopud were we will have dinner in the lovely restaurant beside the sea...
... and in the sunset, refreshed by Mediterranean and filled with sweet memories, we will sail back to the Dubrovnik........!!! Excursion and dinner are included in conference's fee and we are inviting all authors to submit their final papers, to make conference registration and to join us in Dubrovnik!!! Accompanying persons are welcome onboard, with a fee of 60 EUR. Children up to 12 years of age have 50% discount. Children up to 4 years have free ride. Due to a lot of interest in this Conference and the fact that Dubrovnik is a congress centre, all the hotels are fully booked at that period and we appeal to registered authors to make their room reservations as soon as it is possible.
