Abstract

This special issue of Journal of Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems contains selected papers contributed to the ICEWES 2018 held in November 13-15, 2018 in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) organized the Conference in cooperation with the Arab German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA).

The conference was an attempt to address issues in research and developments in the various fields of sustainable energy, water and environment systems. ICEWES 2018 was a fruitful scientific gathering that provided an international forum for researchers.
